TECHNICAL & SOFTWARE SKILLS
Experience with the latest Adobe Creative Suite (CS4) in its entirety: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, etc. in addition to Apple’s Final Cut Pro and iLife suite for digital video. Proficiency with hypertext, programming and scripting languages related to web design including (but not restricted to): HTML, PHP, Flash and Actionscript 3.0. Familiarity with popular operating systems, particularly OS X (10.5), Windows (through Windows 7 Beta) and Linux (Ubuntu and Gentoo). Working knowledge of many other graphics packages including Corel Painter and Gimp (an open source Photoshop alternative).
Superb grasp of large format digital output techniques and technology. Proficiency with drawing and painting media (graphite, charcoal, oils, acrylic, etc.). Experience with many sculptural materials including casting for metals (wax-working, ceramic shell and sand casting), carpentry, MIG welding and entry level ceramics. Basic proficiency with nontoxic printmaking techniques utilizing photopolymer film. Excellent familiarity with digital transfer and relief techniques. Functional understanding of digital photography with many popular DSLR models (particularly Canon’s EOS series).
